Changing the position of the desktop label

By default, Hyperspaces will display the current space name in the lower left corner of your desktop. You can customize this position like so:

  1. Open the Hyperspaces Preferences.
  2. Select the Your Spaces toolbar item.
  3. Select the space (or spaces) that you would like to change the desktop label position for in the space selection view.
  4. Ensure that the Label tab is selected.
  5. Use the Label Position control to set your desired position by clicking on the position you would like your label to be shown at:
Label position control with the lower left corner selected.

By default, the label will in the same space as the Mac OS X Dock. If you'd like it draw above or beside the Dock, just uncheck the Display label under the Dock checkbox. This can be useful if your Dock covers the space label.
