Change the menu transparency for a space
Hyperspaces allows you to enable and disable the transparency of the Mac OS X menu bar on a per-space basis. This can be useful, as the custom desktop image is not drawn under the system menu bar by default.
- Open the Hyperspaces Preferences.
- Select the Your Spaces toolbar item.
- Select the space (or spaces) that you would like to change the menu transparency for in the space selection view.
- Ensure that the Options tab is selected.
- Click the checkbox labelled Translucent menu bar.
On some older Macs, this option may not have any effect.
