Customizing your spaces

Hyperspaces provides great options for making each of your spaces unique. Here are the instructions for making your Space your own:

Space selection and editing

Space selection view under the Your Spaces preferences pane.

You interact with each space by selecting it in the view at the top of the Your Spaces preferences pane. All active spaces are shown in this view, with the active view being brighter and having a white border, and the currently selected view (or views) having a glow. The glow will change color depending on what you've set in the system Appearance settings — mine is set to Blue in the image above.

Customizing multiple spaces at once

Within each of the settings described above, it is possible to apply your customizations to more than one space at a time. You can do this by holding down the Shift or Command key while using your cursor to click on each space. This works the same as selecting icons in the Finder.

Customizing secondary displays

Within each of the settings described above, it is possible to apply your customizations individually to each display within each space. You can find out more about this from the Customizing secondary displays page.
