Show icon in: |
Allows you to customize how the application icon is shown:
- In the Menu bar as an:
- icon with a label
- icon only
- label only
- In the Dock

Menubar icon shows space number |
If enabled, the number of the currently active space will be shown as part of the menubar icon. This is useful if you want to disable the label text and have Hyperspaces take up as little room as possible. |
Menubar icon shows to the left of the text |
If enabled, the menubar icon will be drawn to the left of the label text. If this is disabled, the icon will be drawn to the right of the text. |
Clicking on the Dock icon: |
Hyperspaces can perform an action when you click on the Dock icon:
- Show the switcher: shows the switcher above the Dock icon.
- Show Apple’s Spaces overview: shows the system Spaces overview - this is the equivalent of pressing F8.
- Does nothing: nothing will happen when you click on the Dock icon.

Desktop options: |
Allows you to control whether Hyperspaces will Set the desktop picture when changing spaces. If you use the translucent menu bar, this option ensures that your custom desktop image shows through. Hyperspaces will restore your original desktop picture when it quits. |
